Jalandhar: The Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar is set to organise its 21st Convocation Ceremony on January 16, 2026, at its campus, marking a moment of pride and national significance for the institute. The prestigious event will be graced by the Honourable President of India, Droupadi Murmu, who will attend as the Chief Guest.
The presence of the President at the convocation underscores the growing national stature of NIT Jalandhar and highlights its contribution to quality technical education and nation-building. The ceremony will celebrate the academic achievements of students who have successfully completed their undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes.
1,452 Students to Receive Degrees
During the convocation, a total of 1,452 students will be awarded degrees across various disciplines. This includes 1,011 undergraduate students (B.Tech.), 238 postgraduate students (M.Tech.), 21 MBA graduates, 90 M.Sc. students, and 92 PhD scholars. The event will serve as a milestone in the academic journey of these students, recognising years of dedication, hard work, and excellence.
