In South Australia, Adelaide recorded a warm 26°C, reflecting typical summer conditions. Victoria remained cooler, with Melbourne at 19°C and Geelong at 18°C, providing a noticeable contrast to the heat seen elsewhere.
Across New South Wales, temperatures were comfortable along the coast. Sydney, Gosford, and the Central Coast all recorded 21°C, while Newcastle reached 23°C. Inland, Canberra and Belconnen experienced pleasant conditions at 25°C.
Queensland continues to see warmer and more humid conditions. Cairns was among the hottest locations at 31°C, while Mackay reached 29°C. In the southeast, Brisbane recorded 26°C, with Ipswich at 25°C, Caloundra at 24°C, and the Gold Coast at 23°C.
In Western Australia, temperatures climbed further, with Perth recording a hot 32°C, while Bunbury remained milder at 24°C. Tasmania also experienced warmer-than-average conditions, with Hobart reaching 25°C and Launceston at 23°C.
Meanwhile, Darwin in the Northern Territory recorded 24°C, reflecting relatively moderate tropical conditions.
